What We're Tracking
ERI maintains a continuously evolving log of anomalous phenomena across the Western U.S. Below are the primary categories of inquiry we're actively investigating, drawn from field data, community reports, government documents, and historic patterns.
UAP Movement & Low-Altitude Radar Activity
We are tracking clusters of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) observed moving through restricted or unclassified airspace at unconventional speeds, trajectories, and altitudes. Many of these are corroborated by radar returns, ATC logs, or military training routes. Specific attention is given to:
- Regions with recurring low-altitude radar anomalies (below 4,000 ft AGL)
- Areas adjacent to known radar blind spots, VFR corridors, and radio silence zones
- Correlations with infrared or spectrum-based detections from amateur sensor arrays
Cryptid Encounters in Desert, Forest, and Mountain Terrain
We investigate ongoing reports of large unknown bipeds, quadrupeds, and anomalous fauna across remote wilderness zones, often coinciding with inaccessible terrain, seasonal migration windows, or unexplained animal behavior. Current points of interest include:
- High-desert corridors with limited trail access and recurring witness accounts
- Forest-edge zones with auditory phenomena (e.g. howls, knocks, mimicry)
- Historic sightings in proximity to First Nations or settler-era folklore
Apparitional Phenomena & Haunted Site Patterns
ERI monitors reports of apparitional entities, disembodied voices, and location-based anomalous activity. Our focus includes:
- Long-term “hot” zones with recurring multi-generational reports
- Sites with combined sensory, environmental, and EMF anomalies
- Historic locations with trauma histories tied to haunt-type events
Enduring Folklore in High Desert & Frontier Communities
Many communities across the Great Basin, Colorado Plateau, and Mojave preserve unique threads of oral history, often echoing patterns found in modern anomalous reports. We catalog:
- Legends tied to physical landforms or recurring phenomena
- Stories containing encoded environmental memory or behavioral warnings
- Overlap between indigenous cosmology, settler folklore, and current-day sightings
Obscure Parapsychology & Fringe Science Research
ERI reviews overlooked research from early 20th-century parapsychology journals, postwar psi experiments, and fringe scientific papers, with the goal of identifying insights, models, or techniques applicable to modern investigations. This includes:
- Temporal distortion experiments and observer-effect models
- Consciousness-related field work tied to remote viewing or intention imprinting
- Archive scans from defunct journals, university collections, and personal estates
Government Silence, Patterns, and Behavior
We track shifts in government posture, language, and information control mechanisms surrounding unexplained incidents. This includes:
- FOIA/GRAMA requests and response behavior over time
- Changes in terminology (e.g. UAP vs UFO) and classification thresholds
- Covert or unexplained air traffic activity, redacted flight logs, or unusual SIGACTs
